Care
The coated color diamonds are safe to use, and require no special attention under normal wear and tear. The color treatment is not subject to change over time. However, coated color diamond should not be exposed to temperatures over 65ºC (150ºF). So If you prefer you local jeweler to take care of your “annual checkup” like prong repairs, band resizing, cleaning, or any other service, please be sure to tell your jeweler that the diamond is coated diamond. Your jeweler will know to take the appropriate precautions.
Can be cleaned by:
Steam for only short amount of time.
Cold Ultrasonic for only short amount of time.
Gently scrub with a soft toothbrush and soapy water only the crown (the top) of the diamond.
Use mild jewelry cleaner.
Thing to avoid:
Exposed to excessive amounts of heat it might affect the color.
Do not expose the diamond to any acid (sulfuric or hydrofluoric).
Do not re-cut or re-polished your diamond.
